NCS provided engineering, surveying and permitting services for the Casa Intermediate Care Facility located on Gorham Road in Scarborough, Maine.
Fairpoint Submarine Cable Project
NCS was retained by FairPoint Communications to provide land surveying, civil engineering and municipal, state and federal permitting services to allow for the placement of an armor coated fiber optic cable, approximately 4,200 feet in length, designed to settle into the ocean floor permanently from Littlejohn Island to Chebeague Island, Maine.
Waterville Airport
Pier & Seawall Design Project
NCS completed the design of a 55-foot long permanent pier, ramp and float for a residential property located in Scarborough, Maine. The project also included the design of stone armoring to replace an existing, deteriorated seawall.
U.S.S. Constitution Dry Dock Repairs
NCS was asked to provide survey services on dry dock revisions to accommodate the U.S.S. Constitution, the world’s oldest commissioned naval vessel afloat, at the Charlestown Navy Yard, Boston, MA. The project required analysis of complex survey data sets.
